BLUE MOUNTAINS

Blackheath Glen, Megalong Valley

Facilities:
  • pit toilets

  • tank water (treat before drinking)
  • bins

Notes:
  • This campsite is very popular, so it may be hard to find a free spot.
  • The google maps icon for Blackheath Glen Reserve is wrong, but the red marker on this map is correct.

Dunphy's Camping Area, Megalong Valley

Facilities:
  • 2WD access and carpark
  • fire pits
  • tank water (treat before drinking)
  • picnic tables
  • BBQ

Notes:
  • There are no toilets.
  • It's a long drive to get there.
  • This is one of the best campsites in the Blue Mountains.

Mt York Reserve, Mt Victoria

Facilities:
  • pit toilets
  • 2WD access and carpark
  • fire pits
  • bins
  • picnic tables
  • lookouts

Notes:
  • Some climbing areas at Mt York are closed due to the recent bushfires.

Cathedral Reserve, Mt Wilson

Facilities:
  • pit toilets
  • 2WD access and carpark
  • fire pits
  • tank water (treat before drinking)
  • bins
  • picnic tables


Notes:
  • This campsite is popular amongst canyoners.

Old Ford Reserve, Megalong Valley

Facilities:
  • pit toilets
  • 2WD access and carpark

Perry's Lookdown, Grose Valley

Facilities:
  • pit toilets
  • 2WD access and carpark
  • lookouts

Notes:
  • You can only stay at this campsite for one night.
  • There are only 5 campsites, so it may be hard to find a free spot.



FEE PAYING CAMPSITES

Centenary Park, Mt Arapiles

Cost:
$5 per person per night

Facilities:
  • flush and pit toilets
  • rain water (treat before drinking), bore water (for cleaning dishes)
  • 2WD access and carpark
  • fire pits
  • picnic tables

Notes:
  • Open fires are not permitted from 1st November to 30th April each year, but you can use fuel stoves all year.
  • Most people stay at "The Pines".
