A message from UTSOAC about the Remote First Aid course (the dates will be the weekend on the Jan 23-24th of this month)
“We’ve got 5 people from the club interested so far – I’m going to hassle a few more via email now. We’ve got some interest from SUBW as well – but if anyone else from SURMC is keen, please get them to call me.

“The third day of the course would cost an extra $75 per person incl-GST making the total $350 incl-GST.
Our minimum number stands for this extra day, being ten people.
There is an inherent issue with having a some people finish after two days, and others continue to three – the course loses some coherency as a result, but ultimately it is your decision.
I would suggest though an all-or-nothing approach to this extension.
I will need to know your decision soon as the venue will need to be arranged.
With regard to venue, is Pennant Hills OK? This location gives us access to the back to Lane Cove National Park – it is an excellent site.”

I would come just bad timing.
I have to work and I got a whole bunch of assignments due.

Come on Dave, it’s right next door to where you live… You can go in the morning and do your assignments in the evening…
If it makes you feel any better, I have an incomplete thesis due early Feb and my future job depends on its completion…

It’s going ahead. UTSOAC had paid in advance a long time ago for the two day course. I’m in the process of negotiating a 3rd day.
